The waters surrounding the granite islets range from shallow 9-meter (30 ft) reefs to drop-offs exceeding 480 meters (1,500 ft) in depth. This varied environment supports a rich marine ecosystem, including sea turtles, manta rays, and tropical fish.

Most guided tours provide the necessary gear to explore these areas. Early mornings between 08:00 and 11:00 AM offer the calmest waters and best visibility.
